The presiding Bishop of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministries in Ibadan, Oyo state, Prophet Wale Olagunju In a 52-point prophecy for the Year 2017, has released his prophecies for the new year.

According to a report by The Sun, Prophet Olagunju, who accurately predicted President Muhammadu Buhari's victory in the 2015 election, has revealed that the Nigerian president will be dethroned in 2019 election by former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.

The influential cleric also revealed the possibility of the country splitting into five as he claimed to have foreseen,“the map of Nigeria torn into five,” saying, “no amount of peace talk can prevent Nigeria’s disintegration. It is a matter of time.”

He predicts that the Igbo’s desire for Biafra nation has received divine approval.

Below are his prophecies for Nigeria in the year 2017:

1. As revealed by the Almighty God who will never share his glory with mortal man, the present generation of Nigerian leaders in the likes of Obasanjo, Babangida, Gowon, Danjuma, Abdusallam and Buhari will pass away before the emergence of the Messiah that will lead Nigeria to the promise land. The problem in our Nation will be so much that what we are witnessing now will be a child play to what we will see and hear and there will be chaos and distrust all over the nation as a result of which the messiah will emerge.

This messiah, an unknown person, will proffer solutions (to the problems); conduct referendum and will break Nigeria peacefully. As revealed to me further by the creator of the universe, the reign of this messiah will be brief. God of Abraham has concluded in heaven to raise for Himself the young man who will give divine solution and execute God’s programme for Nigeria.

2. There is going to be serious fight between Obasanjo and Buhari as revealed by God Almighty.

3. Notable chieftains of the APC and the PDP who are talking of 2019 without due reference to God will not live to witness that year.

4. There is going to be rowdy session in the National Assembly in the coming year.

5. The present war against Bola Tinubu will continue but many of those fighting him will come back to eat their words.

Adama Barrow President Elect Gambia, also announced the creation of a group of experts to lay the foundations for his new administration.

Gambia's president-elect Adama Barrow in a speech on Monday called on President Yahya Jammeh to step aside, saying that even colonial power Britain was able to hand over power peacefully.

In a Christmas message, Barrow said Gambians should be free of the threat of violence as "we enter a New Year of hope" after Jammeh threatened to cling to power unless the Supreme Court orders him to step down.

Barrow also announced the creation of a group of experts to lay the foundations for his new administration.

Jammeh, who has been in power as the president of Gambia for 22 years, stunned observers by initially accepting his defeat in the December 1 vote by opposition candidate Barrow, but then flip-flopped a week later, rejecting the results and filing a court challenge.

"I should assume office when the term of office of the incumbent expires... I do not want to preside over a country that is not at peace with itself," Barrow said in a statement.

"I am calling on all peace loving Gambians to... work for a peaceful transfer of executive power, for the first time in our history since independence."

Jammeh has stoked international concerns about the future of the tiny west African country, with the UN joining African leaders in calling for him to step down.

"If the colonialists could peacefully hand over executive power... (we) should be able to show a better example to our children," Barrow said.

"To ensure that the country realizes its full potential when I assume office, I have already commissioned the establishment of a think tank" to prepare a transition plan.

Under Jammeh's long rule, The Gambia has remained greatly poor but enjoyed relative stability -- though rights groups and media watchdogs accuses him of cultivating a climate of fear and clamping down on dissent.

Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), on Friday has ordered every of its fighters to prepare to fight “War” against the “Enemy”, saying that The Nigerian authorities were not ready for any dialogue.

Avengers had declared a ceasefire last year after major attacks on oil facilities, crippling the entire OPEC member’s oil output.

The previous attacks has reduced Nigeria’s oil production output drastically, which stood at 2.1 million barrels per day (bpd) for some months in 2016.

Although the Nigerian government has been holding talks for more than six months with The Niger Delta leaders, the former militants have complained that no progress has been made on the issue.

In a statement posted on its site yesterday, NDA said it was set to resume hostilities.

1. It is my pleasure to present the 2017 Budget Proposals to this distinguished Joint Assembly: the Budget of Recovery and Growth.

2. We propose that the implementation of the Budget will be based on our Economic Recovery and Growth Strategy. The Plan, which builds on our 2016 Budget, provides a clear road map of policy actions and steps designed to bring the economy out of recession and to a path of steady growth and prosperity. 

3. We continue to face the most challenging economic situation in the history of our Nation. Nearly every home and nearly every business in Nigeria is affected one way or the other.

Yahya Jammeh the president of Gambia has in his speech accused the West African regional bloc ECOWAS of declaring war after demanding that he stand down following his defeat at the ballot box.

Regional leaders in the government warned last month that the 15-member ECOWAS would "take all necessary action to enforce the results" of the December 1 poll.

Jammeh retorted in a New Year's speech on Saturday night that the ECOWAS the concluded summit decision was "totally illegal" as it violated the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of its member states.

"It is in effect a declaration of war and an insult to our constitution. It is therefore absolutely unacceptable," Jammeh said.
