Waje turns love doctor

Bym The RnB diva, Waje Iruobe, popular for her
hit song, I wish, recently showed her romantic
side when she took to her Instagram page to give
romance tips to guys, saying guys are no longer
innovative when it comes to romance.
According to her: “God, guys has got no game
going for them anymore. What happened to being
innovative in romance? Now romance is all about
popcorn and ice cream with movie.
Be innovative guys, Paris isn’t too far or a rooftop
dinner. That’s romance,” she advised.

AY: Inspiration to young people

It is not just enough to say that you have struggled to
make something out of nothing, when you don’t
have anything to show for it.
Ayo Richard Makun, popularly known as AY is
outstanding in his profession as a comedian
because he didn’t allow the hurdles he
encountered earlier in life to deter him from his
dreams; today he has a lot to show for it.
His University days were filled with tales that
would make a block-buster movie if scripted. But
that did not change his mind-set as he was
determined to get to his God-given destination.
In this edition, we celebrate an icon who has
affected so many young lives and whose shows
have launched so many entertainers into
spotlight, but whose greatest wish is for his
parents to be alive to see what he has become.
How far has AY gone?
AY is a father and he is married to Mabel. He is
multi-talented, a multi-award winning standup
comedian, and one of the most successful comic
acts Nigeria has produced.
AY gained fame through mimicking Rev. Chris
Okotie in his hilarious jokes, and by 2006 he was
called the Best Up-Coming Comedian in Nigeria.
He comes across easily, as Nigeria’s most
creative comedian. He is also an established
Compere, radio and TV presenter. He is a
promoter, producer, actor, director, writer and an
amazing event manager.
Ayo Makun is the host of one of Nigeria’s largest
comedy shows known as the “AY live”. He is the
director and also acts in AY’s Crib. Great
Comedians like Helen Paul and Bovi arguably had
their breaks from his shows. AY is the owner of
Corporate World entertainment, Nigeria, Mr.
Corporate is an award he won severally in his
university days. It is no wonder, he loves the
name.
AY Live enjoys huge attendance in Nigeria and
London. In 2007, he held Lagos spellbound when
the second edition of AY Live, Lagos Invasion
drew a record crowd forcing him to do two shows
in one day instead of one as planned. A similar
feat was re-enacted in Nigeria’s Federal Capital
City when AY Live, Abuja Invasion gave Abuja a
standstill; it became Abuja’s most attended
entertainment event ever.
He owns one of the biggest and most comfortable
club houses in Nigeria. Ayo Makun has invested
heavily in stand-up comedy as he has influenced
so many upcoming comedians through his AY
“Open Mic Challenge”. AY just recently premiered
his latest movie titled ‘30 Days in Atlanta’ shot in
the US.
But it was not always like this for AY…
He was already in 300 Level when he decided to
study a course different from his original course
which is Music. It was so difficult to change, so
he did the almost impossible by buying another
Jamb form.
He wrote the exam, passed it and was given
admission to study Theatre Arts from 100 level,
but he wasn’t perturbed as he was happy
studying his dream course. In-between studying
music and changing to Theatre Arts Department,
AY spent about eight years doing a-four year
programme.
Even though AY was exceptional student, he had
to sponsor himself through the University,
although he was very young. Ayo Makun was
raised in a very humble home; he lost both
parents pretty early and had to take the
responsibility of being a father to his siblings.
He was forced to pick up the challenge of sending
his younger ones to school while he was there
himself. AY is the first male child amongst seven
children, so it was not out of place when he had
to wear the shoes of his parents at a tender age.
AY became a popular photographer just to make
ends meet in school. He contested for different
corporate competitions which he won, of which
the proceeds of which he used to pay tuition.
Along the line, using the platform of Delta State
University, AY became the biggest event organiser
on campus. He launched and hosted shows like
Miss Delsu, Miss Delta, Face of Delsu and many
others.
He didn’t give up even when he was gang-beaten
by some cultists oncampus because he had
beautiful girls flocking around him. Most ladies
who went for Miss Nigeria and even to the Miss
World Pageant from Delta State University in his
time were managed by AY. But he was doing all
these without actually making much money, until
he graduated and moved to Lagos, to a bigger
and brighter future.

NEWS:

Herbalist Arrested For Alleged Murder Of Client In Lagos

Lagos—The Lagos State Police Command weekend, arrested a 55 year-old herbalist in connection with the alleged murder of a 62-year- old woman, who was declared missing last month, at Olodi Apapa area of Lagos.
Recovered from the suspect identified as Isiaka Akanbi, who also claimed to be a Muslim cleric, were the deceased’s personal effect which were exhumed in his shrine.
The deceased, Raliatu Kareem, reportedly visited the herbalist in his shrine located on Lawani Street, Olodi Apapa, on October 25, 2014 before her mysterious disappearance.
The late Kareem, who resided at 15 Ope-Ewe street in Ijaiye Agbado area of Lagos was said to have gone on a visit a relative who had a baby at Salubi Street,

But the lid was blown because the relative who the deceased went to visit was aware of the visit to the alfa’s home. We are still searching for the corpse. Its recovery will form another phase in our investigation,” police sources hinted. Contacted, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu confirmed the arrest of Akanbi, saying investigation was still on.

THE BEST TRAITS OF A GIRLFRIEND

These Are The Possible Tell-Tale Signs That Definitely  You Have An Awesome Girlfriend
Guess what the Scenero is? We're feeling a little misty-eyed like confused, it's  all about true love. Does True Love really exist? Despite the odds, and everything. Maybe there's more to life than playing the field.
Well, you can create your own relationship success by looking for the right traits in a woman instead of looking for something that has never been missing.
Let's take a look at the top 10 things in a significant other that'll make for a lasting relationship.
  START WITH 10

THE BEST TRAITS OF A GIRLFRIEND

10 She's
Independent

No one gets into a relationship to be a babysitter. If she's had a rough day at work, it's great to be her shoulder to cry on. But if she can't seem to function without you, you'll eventually suffocate, and if you're smart you'll run for the nearest exit. Independence is key to a happy relationship, for both the man and the woman. You'll find you're still getting to know her long after you've gotten serious if she has a host of interests and commitments outside of your relationship.

9. She's Intelligent

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the bimbo routine gets real old, real fast. A woman who can meet you at an intellectual level is a total turn on. An intelligent woman will constantly surprise you and keep you on your toes. She won't let you get bored or complacent. Besides, it's nice to have something to talk about between all that headboard-rattling sex.

THE BEST TRAITS OF A GIRLFRIEND

8. She's Sexual

While we're on the topic, a great girlfriend has to be sexually compatible with you. For instance, if you're into S&M and she's more the "fluffy lingerie" type, that's a problem. The two of you have to be on the same page -- or, at least, if it's what you really crave, she has to be willing to wear leather and use a whip from time to time. Of course, this doesn't imply that she has to know all the right moves straight away; it simply means that you and she have an undeniable attraction toward each other and are able to communicate your desires verbally (or with physical cues). It is important that you please each other in the bedroom -- or on top of the dryer -- whatever the case may be.

7. You're Attracted
             To Her

I know, this one is kind of obvious, but important nonetheless. A great girlfriend will not only want to look good for you, but also for herself. Being seen with her should make you feel better about yourself. And this doesn't mean that she has to be a Heidi Klum clone. Whatever floats your boat. Your mutual attraction should make you both want to stay looking your best.

6. Respects
        You

This is a biggie. Your girlfriend must respect you -- otherwise you have to wonder why she bothers to be with you. This means that she takes the time to listen to you, even if you're in a heated argument. A great girlfriend will keep major disputes private rather than taking you down in public. She'll make an effort to see things from your point of view (provided you do the same for her). The key here is that the respect be mutual -- it's very hard for one of you to respect other while feeling disrespected. The golden rule has no better application than in terms of respecting your significant other.

5. She Lets You Be
A Man

Do not -- I repeat -- do not get involved with a woman who tries to get you to eat cottage cheese and fruit for breakfast and insists that you give up poker night with the guys. You will end up resenting her more than you can imagine. A good girlfriend lets you be a guy in all your glory, poker night and all. If she's a great girlfriend, she'll even bring you and your buddies a couple of beers and make you some of her famous sandwiches. She has to understand that men and women are different and should allow you to be yourself. Just like you wouldn't deprive her of going shopping with her best girlfriend, she shouldn't expect you to give up the guys for her.

NEXT PAGE

THE BEST TRAITS OF A GIRLFRIEND

1. She Doesn't Nag
     Without A Good
            Reason

We've never met a man who was convinced to change his behavior because of his girlfriend's nagging. A great girlfriend knows this and chooses her battles wisely. She knows when to get upset and when to let it slide. However, if you live together and you stay out all night without calling her, and she lets you have it, then you're setting yourself up for disaster. This is a situation that nobody would let slide -- not even a great girlfriend. Don't push your luck with anyone, least of all your
girlfriend.

THE BEST TRAITS OF A GIRLFRIEND

1. She Gets Along
With Your Friends And Family

A great girlfriend will make an effort to get to know your people. She'll help your parents out at Thanksgiving, try to understand your brother's twisted sense of humor and want to get to know your friends. She'll actually empathize with your sister's getting dumped and suggest that you guys take her out to cheer her up. Not only that, but your friends won't roll their eyes and moan when you mention that she'll be joining you guys when she gets off work -- she's one of the crowd.

THE BEST TRAITS OF A GIRLFRIEND

2. She Loves You
If you have found a woman who loves you for who you really are and not who you pretend or try to be sometimes, you should definitely hang on to her. Of course, everyone has their slightly annoying habits that their mate has to contend with, but if she really loves you, she'll be able to cope with these. Another way to know if she really loves you is by observing the way she looks at you and treats you on an everyday basis. If the sight of you doesn't seem to faze her either way, and she doesn't really seem to care about what you have to say, she's either playing very hard to get, or she sees you as just some guy. But if a surprise visit or phone call from you makes her light up, there's no denying that she loves you.

1. She Makes You
Want To Be a
Better Man

Stop making that face... Any man who has a great girlfriend or wife will tell you that she makes him want to be a better man. She doesn't have to say or do anything; it just is that way. If you suddenly feel bad about how you treated your sister when you were younger or find yourself trying to get your finances in order to prepare for the future, you might want to think about your motivation for doing so. It could be love.

ANIMALS: All You Need To Know About "FROGS"

Introduction

Conceived and coordinated by SAVE THE FROGS!, Save The Frogs Day is the world's largest day of amphibian education and conservation action. On this day we encourage the appreciation and celebration of amphibians by people from all walks of life. Only a small proportion of the public is aware that frogs are disappearing, and amphibian conservation efforts will not be successful with an un-informed public. Our goal is to make the amphibian extinction crisis common knowledge, and Save The Frogs Day is our best way to make this happen!
Since 2009 our supporters have held over 923 Save The Frogs Day educational events in 59 countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Belize, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Estonia, Germany, Ghana, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom and the USA. These events have helped educate tens of thousands of people about the importance of frogs and ways to protect amphibian populations!
Save The Frogs Day events have included protests at the US Environmental Protection Agency for its failure to ban harmful endocrine-disrupting pesticides; parades through major urban centers; frog art and photo exhibits in town centers; habitat restoration at critical frog habitats; nature walks to teach people about their local amphibians; and numerous presentations on amphibian conservation in schools and universities. Because of Save The Frogs Day and our worldwide network of volunteers, the frogs now have assistance all around the planet, and the next generation of humans is growing up with the knowledge needed to protect amphibians from extinction.
Please organize an event in your community and spread the word to your local schools and environemtnal groups. If you can't participate in Save The Frogs Day, please place a tax-deductible donation or fundraise for the frogs, and help us spread frog awareness to the furthest reaches of the planet. Together we can SAVE THE FROGS!
"Congratulations because Save The Frogs Day has become an icon in conservation around the world!!! Thanks for such inspiring work!!!"

President Jonathan To Declare Re- election Ambition Soon – Anyim

Secretary to Government of the Federation
(SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, has said
President Goodluck Jonathan would soon
declare his intention to seek a second tenure
as president in the 2015 elections.
About 40,000 people of the South-south
region were out to show their support for the
present and also present 4,150,000
signatures urging Jonathan to seek a second
term.
The leader of the Transformation
Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), Kenneth
Kobani, presented 4, 150,000 signatures to
Ayim, who represented Jonathan, at the
South-south rally of TAN at the Liberation
Stadium, Port Harcourt, urging the president
to contest the 2015 presidential election.
“Yes, the South-south has broken the record
of the other five regions that have so far
asked President Jonathan to run for a
second term of four years. Your region has
collected 4,150,000- signatures. The
signatures can be verified. You can see the
names of those who signed; their telephone

10 signs to detect an ulcer patient

An ulcer is like a nasty canker sore (or crater) that typically develops either on the
lining of the stomach (a gastric or peptic ulcer) or at the opening of the small
intestine in the duodenum (a duodenal or peptic ulcer). Ulcers occur due to an
imbalance of digestive juices or if the stomach lining suffers some form of damage
(i.e., alcoholism).
An ulcer can be extremely painful, so it’s difficult to ignore if you develop one.
However, if left untreated, the ulcer can eat into the stomach wall causing a
perforated ulcer or the blood vessels causing a bleeding ulcer, and resulting in
damaging and excruciating health complications.
Here are ten very evident signs that you may be suffering from an ulcer…
1. Abdominal Pain
Pain in your abdomen, typically between the breastbone and belly button region,
may follow a meal as the stomach empties. The pain will often come and go in
waves of burning or stabbing pain.

35 Police Men Missing after the attack at Gwoza

Thirty five police officers have been declared
missing following the deadly attack by
suspected Boko Haram fighters on the Mobile
Police Training School, Gwoza, last week,
Force Headquarters, yesterday, confirmed.
The Inspector General of Police, Suleiman
Abba, had since ordered the tightening of
security in police formations across the
country to prevent future attacks, while
search and rescue efforts had led to the
recovery of scores of policemen.
“Following the attack launched by insurgents
on the Gwoza Training camp of the Nigeria
Police Mobile Force (PMF), the Inspector-
General of Police, Ag. IGP Suleiman Abba has
since ordered the tightening of security
around all police facilities in the country in
addition to efforts made to further protect
the lives of all people in Nigeria and their
properties,” a statement by the Force Public
Relations Officer, DCP Emmanuel Ojukwu
said.
“It will be recalled that a ferocious attack
earlier launched on the Training camp by
insurgents on 7th August, 2014 was repelled
by the Police.
“On 20th August, 2014, the attackers
launched a fresh offensive that lasted for
several hours where the policemen on duty
engaged them in a fierce battle.
“The search and rescue party launched
immediately has located and brought to
safety all Police officers in the Training
College at the time of attack.
“So far, thirty-five policemen who are still
missing from the facility as a result of the
latest attack are being searched for with very
promising prospect of locating them.
“While enjoining all citizens to remain calm
and join hands with the security forces in the
collective fight against insurgency, the IGP
restates his determination to work closely
with other security agencies to stem the tide
of terrorism in the country,” the statement
read.

GERMANY BEATS BRAZIL 7-1 CHAI!! na only Brasil waka come oh....

"CHAI!!! MY OWN DON FINISH" Scolari Baba..
Brazil have sacked manager Luiz Felipe Scolari just hours after the end of a home World Cup in which they suffered two of their worst defeats in the tournament's history, one of Brazil's leading newspapers reported on Monday.
Scolari's Brazil were favourites to win the tournament but were demolished 7-1 in a semifinal defeat by eventual champions Germany. To compound their misery, they then lost the third-place playoff 3-0 against the Netherlands.
Scolari, who led Brazil to the last of their record five World Cups in 2002, said after the game he would make a report to his bosses at the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and only then would his fate be decided.
But O Globo reported Scolari was fired late Sunday night. The paper said an official announcement would be made on Monday.
There was no confirmation from the CBF.
Scolari took over the post in November 2012 and lost just five of his 29 games in charge.
If his departure is confirmed, early front runners to replace him would be Tite, the man who led Corinthians to the Libertadores Cup and Club World Cup in 2012, and Muricy Ramalho, the current boss of Sao Paulo.
However, there will also be calls to hire a foreign manager for the first time in Brazil's history.
The CBF have always resisted that idea, with reports that Pep Guardiola was rejected before he joined Bayern Munich.
