NEWS: BOKO HARAM SECT MEMBER ARRESTED AT UTAKO MARKET ABUJA AGAIN
Some days after we heard that a fleeing Boko Haram member got arrested in ikorodu, Lagos state... Another fleeing member was reportedly arrested in Abuja after the Nigerian troops has cleared and took over their stronghold which is said to be Sambisa forest.
A fleeing members of the Boko Haram sect has since been arrested by officials of a security agency recently established by the Abuja Municipal Area Council, popularly known as AMAC Marshal in the Federal Capital Territory.
According to a statement issued by AMAC Marshal Spokesman, Kingsley Madaki, Usman who is the alleged to be be a sect member was apprehended at exactly 4:30 pm at Utako market shortly after he arrived the premises.
Madaki disclosed that the suspect was apprehended “with a Qur’an and a chaplet on his neck while trying to lobby people in the market.”
The statement said he “confessed that there are many of his colleagues in the city.”
The agency has therefore, appealed to residents of Abuja Municipal Area Concil and the FCT in whole to be vigilant and to report any suspicious movement to AMAC Marshal personnel and other security agencies.
